>Then when I was about rid of her, she says "she is pregnant". Odd though, it was another 3 years before she had our first.

Wow, that is a LONG pregnancy! ;-)

Wow, sounds like you have a lot on your plate, especially before finals. From reading the other responses, I agree, stay away from her. If she tries to contact you, do not respond. Period. Apparently she has some deep rooted issues. The fake pregnancy and attempted suicide were cries for help. Her family is with her. It would not hurt to meet with her father, as long as its regarding her present situation. If he mentions anything about getting back with her, end that conversation. Good luck with your finals. Its stressful enough before finals. The last thing you need is all of that drama.

Frank, the thing you have missed her, is the OP said he didn't want to have children, she said she did so he broke up with her so as not to continue a relationship that would not make either one of them happy in the end. He is sure he wants to remain CF. He shouldn't have to change that to make an unstable partner happy when she probably shouldn't even have children to begin with based on her mental status. There are enough kids out there in the hands of brain donors, no reason to bring more into this world.

I think he was expressing disbelief in how could she get pregnant, "accidently" at this moment when he has broken up with her even after taking so much precaution. The only way to be 100% sure of no pregnancy is to NEVER have sex. I know someone who doens't even have a uterus but still has her ovaries who got a tubal pregnancy.

I personally would be curious to know what the Father of this wingnut has to say. I think curiosity would probably get the better of me. I also would want to inform this man of the hysterics his daughter had been putting me through. BUT thats up to you of course. I think you seem like a nice guy and I hope that you have an easier time in the future.

Please enjoy your CF life and don't let anyone tell you you have to walk the path that they do.

Did I miss the part where she said she wanted kids? Because my understanding is that he broke up with her because she SCREAMED at him constantly, and accused him of "not caring" because he refused to scream back at her. Only after he thought about it and told her that he's breaking up with her (when plenty of the people on this board said that if she thinks screaming is the only way to communicate, there's something very wrong with her way of thinking) did she say she had "plans for the both of them", which may or may not have involved kids, I don't know.

I think that was part of it, that she wanted kids and he doesn't.
