As a woman,I can tolerate alot of things. But,I couldn't tolerate infidelity and abuse. Those 2 things alone would drive me to the nearest divorce attorney.

First, when it comes to marriage and fidelity, those are sacred things to me.When I got married and took those vows with my husband, it meant everything in our relationship. But,if my husband crossed the boundaries, and stepped on those vows,etc...that would be it.

Secondly, abuse.If my husband ever abused me emotionally,and most importantly, physically...I would be gone.No one,including a man,has a right to abuse anyone,including me.PERIOD!

Addiction,gambling,etc...those tihngs can be dealt with in my opinion. As long as my spouse wanted to fix the problem. Then they could be marriage breakers.

While I can love my husband unconditionally, it does not mean that I would *stay* with him under all conditions.

Everyone talks about the big A's (abuse, adultery, addiction) but to me, there are other circumstances that can be just as bad.

If I knew my husband lost interest in me, if he no longer loved me...I wouldn't stay. Heck, my husband has his work cut out with me because I need to know that he not only loves me but is happy with me or...I would encourage him to go and find his happiness with someone else.

Life is too short and I won't settle for an unhappy marriage. We have been unhappy during our marriage but for only very brief (days) periods as we learned how to figure it out and reclaim our happiness. Yes, we've fought and argued but with each conflict settled, we've learned something about life, love, marriage and ourselves.

I absolutely would not stay for any other reason than love. I would not tolerate a loveless marriage.
