When I do my shopping, I shop online and have my stuff shipped to my doorstep. It is this little thing called the Internets. Saves gas and time as well too.

You need to have children! Who else is going to pay into the Social Security system to support you in your old age? (with the implied ... as well as me!)

We probably already won't have Social Security by the time I retire, so I'm already paying into it for nothing. I save my own money anyway so I'm not expecting a dime from the gov't.

If you think there are so many bratty kids out there, don't you want to produce a child that will be well behaved and a great kid to counteract the brats?

Why would I want to put a poor innocent child amongst a whole lot of brats? Why would I be so cruel?

Won't you feel that you've missed out on that intergenerational thing, ie the continuation of the generations and feeling part of that?

Frankly, that is just about the stupidest reason to have kids that I've ever heard.

Actually the world can't smile -- the world is a planet, not a person. And actually the more babies there are, the more polution, and really, if the world had a facial expression, it would probably be one of disgust as it had more and more garbage on it!

Why on earth would I want to do a thing like that?

I'd rather not have the child, and then go ahead and do all the things I've always wanted to do!
