the little girl wants to be like mom so little girl get waxed little girl figures out that waxing there or anywere = PAIN!!! Little girl says no Mommy gets mad, upset whatever. Little girl wants to make mom happy Little girl does it again and again because mom is a bitc# and that makes mom shut up! Little girl figures out that she can get rid of mom by being mom so little girl has sex til she is mom New mom turns into her bitc#y mom and acts like her mom has taught her to act! or little girl needs intentence therapy and lots of prozac to function on any level.

I know everyone is different but at the age of 9 I had bigger breasts than my mother and was certainly a 'woman' in terms of hair...

I also think it's horrible to wax at the age of 8... also at the age of 28 if you ask me.. I've never waxed as it seems painful and quite frankly, unless my partner is prepared to go through that pain.. neither am I - sorry.. but if he's 'natural' then so am I...

But anyway, that's another rant for another time...

What I mean is, SOME 8 year olds are horribly developed for their age, I should know.. and it's horrible.... in some ways, surely waxing / shaving is being more like their friends e.g. hairless? No.. I am STILL very against the idea.. but I'm trying to look at it from the kids point of view... you're going through early puberty.. your body looks different to all your friends - different isn't always good if you're the only one going through things...

I dont know....I was fully developed at 8...aunt flow and all... my friends that it was cool because I was a "woman" and they asked all kinds of questions... I think kids should learn how to deal with being teased as kids because if mom takes them to get waxed, nipped tucked lifted or have some other plastic surgury just so the girl doesnt get teased she will continue this til the day she dies! the girl will not have any self worth or personal idenity because what made her her has been teased and changed!

granted when I was little I was a walking punchline! blonde glasses fat tall then short then tall again I never developed with the other kids.... I was alway 2 years or so head of them.... So I can understand the girl wanting to not be teased but I think it is the adults in the girls life to stop crule teasing and the girl is going to have to learn to handle herself with everything else...she will either let it roll off like water from a duck or laugh at them and herself or learn how to back them off.

I think it is very dangerous to change kids so other people or kids will like them better. it gives the impression that the kid isnt good enough the way he or she is. Besides, what good does it do to change the outside looks when the Snippilee and Whiney have with grown up wild and with out rules.... I would rather see a child that isnt a model beauty queen but minds there manners and behaves then a beauty queen that runs me over in the store or tosses a temper tantrum.

You know Freespirit, your weight probably was the reason you developed early. Extra body fat holds estrogen, so if you're overweight as a kid you get extra doses of estrogen at a younger age than someone who's thin. My next door neighbors were twin girls who were also overweight and they developed FAR younger than anyone else I knew.
