There are no luggage racks on a hearse, so I'm not really concerned with working hard to keep it, nor leaving anything to anyone. I work for me; whatever possesion or money-type goodness I have leftover after my blood stops coursing goes to the charity of my choice, by God, they need it. The SPCA sounds like a fantabulous place to receive my net worth, thanks for making me think hard to surface it.

Bingo answer to follow Llyn: Ohhhh man, I'm so glad this thread went Biblical! Challuuunge!

"Go forth and multiply" is not in the commandments. I think it might be Old Testiment, even. Regardless, I know the Bible also says that if you don't have to hook up, don't. "Stay single if you can," (paraphrasing). Check it out in Corinthians, if I'm not mistaken (too lazy to go check myself). As far as "burning in hell," my Christ has given me reason to scoff at such a thought. Even without Christ, religion or faith, I refuse to "multiply" when I feel absolutely no need.

Bingo: "You just don't understand. You haven't really matured yet, but maybe you will, and maybe you'll know what it is to want to bring life."

I am plenty mature enough. I understand what is involved in "bringing life". The world does not need me to bring more life, when it is suffering so badly already with the life already here. Which is where, by the way, I choose to focus my efforts.

Bingo: My children are my life - I couldn't imagine my life without them (insinuating that your life is nothing)...

Gosh, that's pretty sad if you can't imagine your life without children. You must not have had a very interesting life BEFORE children.

Bingo:

You have a headache! Uh oh, you must be pregnant!

No, I just think this is a cute baby. Period. There is no hidden meaning behind that statement. I also think your dog is lovely, but I actually don't want a dog right now or possibly ever. I can appreciate things without having to have them myself. I am intelligent enough to make a distinction between the two. By the way, don't forget your cute baby will be a teenager one day!

Bingo: You're not too old (said to me, aged 41) - my sister had a baby at 43!

[sarcasm] Ah, so that's why every single mother is so svelte and fit! [/sarcasm off]

Bingo:

Thinking up baby names is such fun! Don't you want to be responsible for naming a child?

If that is a reason for anybody having a child, what a sad world we live in. But ok - let's think up some baby names... we can do that without even having a baby around!

Bingo:
Poor me - we will never have the joy of having grandchildren around (this comes from my BF's mother - he's an only child)
