We've had some nasty cases in the last few months - another male gynaecologist called the "Butcher of Bega" mutilated women in surgery and behaved callously in consults ie. inserting a ruler into a woman's [censored] to see if an IUD would fit AND, instead of removing a small lesion from a woman's [censored], he removed a large piece including her clitoris. Sounds like a horror movie doesn't it...No, sadly, it's all true...
The Medical Board is being heavily criticized over this one...
The "Doctor" Graeme Reeves assaulted MANY women - the victims recently held a group meeting to consider their options.
Google "Butcher of Bega"...it's horrifying.
The Doctor that was mentioned initially has been suspended - the matter is now the subject of an Appeal.
Thankfully women are going to the Police and bypassing the Medical Board more and more - IMO these "Doctors" should not be permitted to hide behind professional medical organizations - they should be treated like any other sexual offender.
