I saw that show here a few months back. I always carry earplugs, though. I can't do live music without them as either a performer or a spectator.

I hate to say it, but I also support noise ordinances within reason. I had some horrible neighbors that made me glad they existed. The last time I called them in, I mentioned to the police that I suspected they weren't legal residents. They were gone soon after. They were well aware that they were torturing everyone around them and obviously didn't care.

I won't go to a concert without earplugs. We learned our lesson too many times. It irritates me how far they're turning up the music on shows these days. Whether it's a movie, concert or musical, the music is so deafening it HURTS. I mean, really. Even someone half-deaf would still be able to hear everything if they turned it down.
