If it costs around $150k to raise one child from birth to college, then people must somehow be able to multiply that by 3, 4, 5, ...right?

I've heard much higher even, like $300K. But, I have no idea if that really means PER child, or, if that's mainly high income people (because how could it be otherwise?).

I don't watch those shows for those reasons! Its sending the wrong message. And one wonders why there is Global Warming!

i like the show actually. There aren't always these hordes of kids. Some people afford their children and then tragedy happens. A job is losat. A spouse dies. Someone gets ill. Not all people with large families are bad guys. We learn how to save and be frugal. I come from a family of 8. We didn't have a lot. We had what we needed, saved for what we wanted, and earned the rest.
