BellaOnline Forums Relationships Married No Kids I'd like to smack some sense into my friend, but..

Some friends of mine and their parents took their toddler to Disney World three weeks ago and they said the place was PACKED! She said the lines were long, the school age kids were rowdy and her baby was fussy. It seems to me that they went to a world of trouble and spent a bunch of money to be miserable! Toddlers would do better spending time at home with mom and dad or taking day trips...sometimes I think that parents just want to be able to say, "We went on vacation".

Arg, Disney is an awful decision for toddlers. They're too small to appreciate it but they are so excited that they make themselves sick every day.

Wait til the kids are 10 or so. They'll love it then.

I wouldn't take a toddler but I started taking my daughter when she was 6 years old. She has wonderful memories of it BUT then again we live here and had passes.
We were able to come and go from the parks as we wanted, rather then feeling like we had to spend the entire day at ONE park.
