Sorry, that's 4 - I could have gone on and on...

OK, OK, I'm not jealous at all....

Hear hear. I want Deborah's life :-)

Although I can't really complain - just back from a week snowboarding in Aspen, thinking about rafting the Middle Fork River in Idaho for a week in June, and off to Nepal in November - sweet. Finding a kennel for the dogs is WAY easier than a babysitter for the kids ...

Yes! I've always said you can board or get a sitter for dogs...harder to do that with kids! Not many boarding kennels for kids! LOL!

Heh, that is so true. We've got a great kennel here that really seems to care. They even come back at 9 pm to let the dogs out one last time before sleep. I actually think that the dogs like it there, because unfortunately they're on more of a schedule there than they are here.

1. Only work part time but not worry about finances.

2. Sleep for 8+ hours straight, from whatever time I get to bed.

3. Sit quietly and study for a whole day, just by being at home (no other arrangements required).

1) Went to my monthly writer's group meeting all day. Didn't have to worry about preparing food for the kid or getting stuff ready for the hubby to take care of the kid while I was away.

2) Got up late for the meeting (because I was up late watching stupid sit coms) and was still on time.

3) Met my friend at the meeting and talked about writing, our manuscripts, our dogs and our hubbies--not kids.
