BEFORE YOU REPLY: Make sure you have read and understand the forum guidelines.

Ok, kids, let's try this.

My regular readers know that I cringe every time I see someone blatantly advertising on the Business Coach forum. Weekly, it seems, I'm editing & deleting some scam or ad that doesn't add to the conversation, but violates the rules with clutter.

Here's the thing:

I keep getting asked my opinions about Network / Affiliate / ML Marketing. As I have more than a decade of experience each in Marketing and New Media - I figure it's time for me to see if my mind needs opening or if they really are all scams.

People keep telling me that it depends on the program. People insist there are people making money and still being ethical. I have my doubts - but I'm willing to be open to the possibilities.

The Experiment:

I have selected one program with a wide variety of products and services to choose from.

I have selected one program that is smaller.

Both are free to join. Both have tutorials that are valuable resources, with lessons to help ANY business that you do.

INTERNATIONAL readers - you can play, too. If you want to try this in your country, let me know your country when you PM me to sign up.

If you would like to join the experiment:

Step 1. PM Me & let me know you'd like "In." Let me know if you have a preference on which program you'll try, or if you'd like links to both.

Step 1.5 - Promise me that at no time will you spam or slam this forum, your fellow members, or any forum, site, group, etc. You get the picture. Make sure you can keep your ethics in check while doing this.

Step 2. Sign up with your chosen program.

Step 3. Those that are "in" will make a collective decision whether or not to make our discussion about the experiment public, on the forum or keep it private among us, and do the full write up later.

That's it!

I'm going to be checking these out now, through the end of March.

Glad to have you with me!

Meg

P.S. If I get a ton of requests, I'll post the links to the programs, but I don't want to violate the rules that I set for the forum either.

Thanks, Carennedy!

When I asked people's opinions of MLM & Affiliate Marketing - the resounding quality forum members looked for is - free. They will try a business, as long as they can start for free.

A valid requirement.

Who wants to put a bunch of money up front for something you're not sure of or familiar with? Not many regular folks.

So when I decided to go forward with this experiment - I found a few from a variety of places that are free to sign up. And then weeded them out & came up with just a couple that have legitimate benefit & quality products and services behind them.

Nobody wants to be hocking useless junk to their families. We all know one of those folks, and we do NOT want to be unethical schmoes like that!!!

So I honed in on a couple that have valuable training to help ANY business, whether or not you wind up sticking with their programs.

In fact - one of the videos for one of the affiliate opportunities is on my blog, right now. (MegMeyer.Com) Feel free to take a peek.

Carennedy - since you're busy - the ideas in the video might give you a way to help your business and exchange your time for some cross-promotion. Just a thought.

Sincerely,

Meg

The inside of the website is laid out better (less like a sales letter).

You can totally do the free version - there's still some great stuff in there. I'd like less email from the site - but it's been informative & valuable, so far.
