Yes definitely never get discouraged by the past. Tomorrow is always a fresh opportunity smile

I guess I am too backlogged with work to just listen to music. I have a pile of 10 books to read and review never mind my email and such smile So at least if I watch TV I can review the movie I'm watching, I feel like I'm making progress. I suppose I should just be happy with my health progress of course smile

Someday I'll catch up a bit!

I am so pleased I finally found a good treadmill. it was originally $1000 but Sports Authority had it on sale for only $430. That is a VERY big expense for us, but after all the research we did on treadmills we really wanted a good one that will withstand both of us using it every day, for years.

We figure it's also cheaper than two gym memberships. I have wasted a LOT of money in past years on gym memberships. LOL.

We also picked up a few hand weights, a stability disc and yoga mats. So now we have a nice little home gym in what was the unused dining room. We can watch TV, look out at the view or read, all while on the treadmill.

That is so true Jill - if you get something solid you will use it. If you get something less solid you won't want to use it and the money will just be wasted. We bought our exercise bike several years ago and we really do use it because it is comfy to ride.

Yoga mat! I really do want to learn yoga. I keep prodding the yoga editor to do an intro series for me. I should just buy a darn book and get on with it smile OK I'll go to Amazon right now!

Skyhaven those stability balls are awesome for EVERYTHING. You can stretch on them, do crunches and back extensions on them, or sit on them and lift hand weights. just sitting on them and doing nothing - reading or watching TV - is a workout for your core muscles.

My ball is still in storage in Arizona. I miss it.

But i do have a stability disc coming in, which is good for standing on while using hand weights. You can also put them on your desk chair for a simple, excellent core body workout while you are on the computer - with no effort whatsoever.
