I like to give to charities that give community aid. Being that I live in Israel there are many community aid centers that I prefer to donate to and also to advertise since helping those close to you is very important.

I like an organization called Ata Imadi which helps out families that need warm meals and ambulance rides to hospitals as two examples.

I also try to click on the American Cancer Society everyday.

Right now my favorite charity is the food pantry in our church. We hand out thousands of pounds of food a month.

When I have the money and resources to start my first homeless shelter, then that will be my favorite charity.

I was also planning on volunteering a couple of Saturdays a month at the local animal shelter this summer as well.

MSPCA (Animals) I give to a couple each month

I started giving to them after a favorite aunt of mine died in 1991. She was a regular contributor and I do it in her memory.

Animals are my charity of choice too, usually the local Animal Shelter or Humane Society. Recently tho, I've added the local food bank since so many people need it right now and donations are down.

Wish Upon A Hero is good. I found out about them about 6 weeks ago. It is a good web site to help each other in rough times.
