I guess it's time to make that "Forum Rules" sticky note for the forum that many Bella editors do already. I deleted a post that was an obvious advertisement for a book. I welcome different opinions in the forum, but not blatant advertisement. I don't even mind individual crafters posting links to their arts and crafts for sale as in the Pagan Crafts thread, but if it gets out of hand I may have to revise my stance on that. I will work on the forum rules today, but please feel free to post your opinions folks. I don't want to chase away anyone who truly wishes to discuss issues.

No problem about the spam folks. Although, I have a confession. I still crave my mom's homemade macaroni and cheese with spam sometimes. *giggle* But that's the only time spam is okay, oh and that little ditty by Monty Python is pretty cool too.:)

I'm not sure if I can say this, if it isn't ok just delete I'll understand..... When we went to town I saw the Clorox "GreenWorks" products and of course I got the toilet bowl cleaner, the regular cleaner, and the glass cleaner. They all work very well and they smell wonderful. I am pretty impressed with them and at the same time very glad that I am finally able to get "green" cleaning products.
I do clean when I am upset, and I do feel better afterwards.

You might post this info. there, since it would be very applicable to the topic. But it is good info for us Pagan treehuggers too!!

Yes, you can say that. I only deleted a post that was basically an article written for a product and then not very subtly presented as a "helpful" post. I'm so glad more companies are jumping on the green bandwagon even if some of them are Johnny come lately. I used to clean homes as part of my living and because of allergies and the impact on the earth, I tried to use as many natural products as possible. It's very on topic here to suggest products that promote a healthy relationship with the planet, but the suggestion to post this info in the natural living site is a good idea too.

I'd love to have people interested in Green Products come by Cleaning, too. Trying to get a natural tilt to it.
I stopped by because this thread is right up my alley. A friend sent me some White Sage for smudging and some other herbs. Essential oils also give your home a lovely cleansed feeling.
Using clove oil in your homemade cleaning products and air fresheners will also give you a ceremonial deep cleansing, perfect for the spirit.
Whether someone is pagan or not, using herbs and focused appreciation of taking care of themselves(and home) is a perfect way to inner calm. What a great topic, Trish!

Thanks for stopping by Julie. I agree, natural cleaning products are wonderful. I used to do home cleaning for some of my massage clients for about 4 years. Due to allergies to chemicals in some brand name products, I used natural products such as baking soda, borax, and vinegar with essential oils. I didn't have a problem with allergies to those things. I look forward to reading your articles and getting more good tips.
