With help from my trusty field guide, I found.. Xanthocephalus zanthocephalus
***more commonly known as Yellow-headed blackbird**

Zosterops japonicus also from the Latin
It's a common sight in Japan and China. I love the translation of its Chinese name: 'dark green embroidered eye bird' sounds so much prettier than white-eye
