That's a good way of looking at it. And this board helps keep me from having them, so I shouldn't feel bad about time spent here. There are worse hobbies. Most people I know have a vice of some sort. I don't smoke, drink and only play slots on occasion. And this doesn't cost anything like many other hobbies. And that's pretty cool. This is a pretty safe thing for me to do in between things. I guess my vice could be that I'm negative about certain things, and I'm trying to get a handle on that. Awareness is the first step.

The conversations are interesting. And it also occurred to me that our writing skills probably improve with all of the posting we do. And, we are also learning to crystallize our ideas about a lot of topics. And I would argue that we learn about handling situations, having our opinions heard and learn to debate with people. That can't be bad!

Although I don't participate on a daily basis, I find the times that I am reading/participating in the boards very fulfilling and as some have said...theraputic. Each time I come back, I feel right at home. It is so nice to feel the validation and support from others that are CF. It is wonderful to vent those frustrations only the CF can feel and know those listening really understand you! You guys are awesome! Thank you!

How can you prove whether at this moment we are sleeping, and all our thoughts are a dream; or whether we are awake, and talking to one another in the waking state?

Uh-oh. I LIVE on here and my snowboard forum. I don't want to know how much time I waste online when I should be working ...

Television is probably a time sucker on a much larger scale. And most of the shows on television are MUCH less inspirational/educational. Am I on my boards when I could be doing something else? Probably, but that could be said of any enjoyable pastime. So long as I maintain balance what's the harm?
