I KNOW! i'd probably be good at lots of things i'm not already doing. i might make a hell of an astronaut, but i'm not going to give up my career that i love and worked hard on just to see if i might be good at that!! wink

i remember a friend of mine from college who was really great at math. people kept pestering him to pursue a career in it. problem was ....he hated math! so guess what? he went for english instead b/c that is what he really loved. i always remember that when people say(someone just said it to me last week at the gym) "you're so good with kids, you'd be a great mother!"first of all even if i would be good at it which who knows if i would? if i don't want to do it well then who cares! just b/c i work with kids doesn't mean anything.it's so much different when it's your job(mind you i enjoy it) and you're only there for so much time each day. even if i have a bad day with the kids i know that at the end of my shift it's over and i can go home and unwind.when you're a parent you really can't do that.

New bingo response for all of you who work with children! "It's different when it's your job!" That's a great viewpoint, Indigo!

I got that one today from my mom. I gave her the response I've read on CF sites, "Yeah, you can't give them back".
