I think the Horned God, and all of God's aspects, contain masculine characteristics that may not be normal under today's patriarchal society. Men have to be "manly men" in today's age. Tenderness and tears aren't really allowed too much. But, in a world where Goddess and God compliment each other, things wouldn't be that way. That's why I'm interested in learning about Pagan Gods.
