Arlene! You sure can. Welcome. Oh mah gosh. I completely forgot about Deenie! And, I'm sure you've seen by now, that I have not read "A Wrinkle in Time", however, I'm going to fix that in the new year.
You have a Happy New Year and welcome to BellaOnline.com.

I have the Little House series as well. It is a great reading collection. Also, the Magic Tree House series is good as well.

I just posted an article on affirmations, and in the first paragraph I mention one of my favorites--The Little Engine that Could. I adore that book.

I also loved the Borrowers.

Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree, A Light in the Attic, and Where the Sidewalk Ends.

Definitely "The Saga of Baby Divine" by Bette Midler! Hard to find, sublime, sassy, spirited, and leaves me saying "More"!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE anything by Tamora Pierce, however, I couldn't live without Chronicles of Narnia. Actually, I probably could, since I basically know them by heart. I also really like the Dark is Rising series (I was SO disappointed when I saw the trailers, it looked so bad!)

But if I have to go with an all-time favorite, single book, I would probably have to say .... The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
