if he's happy (which means when you summon him on Lv 1 stuff he'll give u a freebie once every 4 or 5 summons(regardless of everything else)
once you've got him doing this I'm only paying him 2500gil which just gives me 20motivation points (you've at maximum of 8.5 for your Yojimbo being happy so that gives you a total of 28.5
are you still with me
**pokes those falling asleep**
the next one is really based on how tight you are with money if you have losds of money but pay him only a tiny percentage he'll think your tight and only be slightly motivated but if you say only had 2500 and gave it him all he'll be more motivated cos he thinks ya desperate for help cos ya paid him all ya money thus this makes him more motivated (paying him 1250 out of a total of 2500 makes him less motivated than paying him 2000 out of a total of 2500 but more motivated than just paying him 500 if you have a total of 2500. its actuall all about percentage this bit the bigger percentage of money you give him out of the total money you have the more motivated he is(get it yet)
OK my Yojimbo has a compatilbilty stat of 255 which means the maximum Motivation from that is 8.5(255/30) its always divided by 30 no matter how much youi give him!!!!)
I give him 2500 out of 500000 I have (cos I'm tight like that) so I get 20 motivation cos of the amout paid but just less than 3 for being such a tight wad!!! I alwyas call him in overdrive using Yuna's Grand Summon which gives me an extra 2
so up to now I have 8.5(max from compatibility)+ 20(from gil paid) + 3(aprrox from being a tight wad)+ 2(from overdrive) so I have 33.5 so I rely on luck to get me to over 80 cos I need a number bigger than 57 out of 63 so only 7 numbers are any good to me 57-63 akll the rest are too low so I've a 1 in 9 chance obviously if you pay him more and pay him a better percentage of your total ammout of gil you'll have a better chance cos you'll not need as big a number in the random part as me!!!! but if I can get Zanmoto by paying him 2500gil bear in mind I've got him to kill Dark Valafor, Dark Ifret, Dark Ixion(twice, Dark Bahamet and some of the arena bosses I'm one hell of a lucky guy!!!
TSA
PS Lisa I'm not telling my Maths teacher He said I'd fail but I passed with the 3rd highest Grade you can get for those in England thats a B Grade(after A* and A)grrrrr showed him!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

How do you tell what your compatibility is
and what do you mean by level one enemies

Barbatos, Behemoth, Behemoth King, Cactuar, Qactuar(Zanmoto Lv2)
Adamantoise Anima(Zanmoto Lv3)
All StoryLine Bosses(Including Omega)(zanmoto lv4)
All Monster Arena bosses, Dark Aeons, and Penance (zanmoto lv5))
Obviously any that aint mentioned above are LV 1
so if you go around fight Lv 1's and you know every so often he'll do a freebie (where you don't have to pay him he just comes and and does the business) well if this occurs every 4 - 5 times then he's either very high or at maximum compatibility lv
its worked out by c/1024 so highest being 255
255/1024 which gives the answer 0.25(2dp)
so every 4 times makes it a free one (0.25 *4=1)
say if ya getting a free one every 10 times go backward
you should know that there are 10 lots of 0.1 in 1
so then multiply 0.1 by 1024 this will then give you a approximate compatability score this example would be approx. 102
its not that difficult if you know which number goes where!!!

happy yojimbo
pay him well
pay him a good percentage of your total gil
(only number bit)>>> if you got a million gil he'll know if ya tight and only give him 1000, give him AT LEAST 10% - 20% of your total gil!!!
always summon in overdrive
and finally.....
prqy for some luck cos its all random numbers after that!!
that better????

The motivation is then worked out by
Compatibility pts/30 = motivation
eg c=255/30 = 8.5
I don't really understand this one. Correct me if I'm wrong but if your compatibility level is 255 and you would pay the Greedy Bastard 1 gil it would be 255/2 = 127,5 which is way above the 80 level for doing a Zanmato.
