The other night she made chicken wings just like Amy likes and asked for and then Amy refused to eat them and started crying and ran to her room. That would NEVER happen in my house.
And Amy would go hungry until the morning. She'd only pull that stunt once. My nephew tried that one on me - I took him out to dinner in Vegas while my parents went to a show. He made a great drama of choosing his meal (which cost a fortune on the exchange rate), and then decided he didn't want it. When we left, he was standing in the mall looking at the McDonalds and asking if we could go there. No, we can't. He went home to bed, whining and complaining about how hungry he was. But for the rest of the trip, if I was in charge, he ate what was in front of him. Funny, that.
Talk about making a rod for your own back.
