Granada is also in my list! What a shame, as people from other countries have already visited this wonderful city but... I'm from Spain, and I haven't still visited "La Giralda"!! haha

Ok, about the upside down exclamation mark, this is what I found: (Wikipedia.org)

Typing "�" and "�" on computers
"�" is available in all Spanish and Latin American keyboard layouts. On English keyboards under Microsoft Windows, the inverted question mark can be entered by holding down the Alt key and pressing 0191, 168, or 5544 on the number pad. The inverted exclamation point can be entered by holding down the Alt key and pressing 0161, 173 or 8877 on the number pad.

On the Mac OS X platform (or when using the "US International"/us-intl keyboard layout on Windows and Linux), "�" and "�" can be entered by pressing Alt + 1 and Shift + Alt + / respectively. With a compose key, they can be entered by pressing the compose key and ! or ? twice.

In LaTeX documents, the "�" is written as "?`" (question mark, backtick), and "�" as "!`" (exclamation point, backtick).

Hi Joan, I know Rota, fantastic beach.

Andalucia and in fact all of Spain has so much to offer, beaches culture, architecture etc. The city's you mention are wonderful and there are so many more waiting for our exploration.

It's Seville again for me and then Murcia for the first time.

I love Granada the nearest more famous of places to me, but Jaen city is my local.

I love going up to the "castle on the hill" the Parador - having a beer under the mighty vaulted ceiling and them walking to the end of the hill with its enormous white monumental cross and watching the city lights come on.

I've been to Rota, it was lovely and fantastic beaches that went on for miles, or should I say the sea went out for miles.

Have you been back since? I bet your daughter wants to see where she was born - if she hasn't already.
