Re: Brisbane Group
Yes, despite the floods, Queensland Tatters will meet in Brisbane on Saturday, 5 February, in the Brisbane Square Library (opposite the Treasury Casino), 9.30-1.30. As the library proper does not open until 10.00 on Saturdays, they will find our early birds gathering outside about 9.20, ready for the security guard to let us in at 9.30. They'll need their lunch. We shall be tackling Dora Young's knotless method (split chain) in our mini-workshop, which they are free to join. They will need a curtain ring/round key ring, one shuttle and No. 20 cotton in a light colour. (It's good for newbies to learn the basics of the knotless method, even though split chain may be beyond them at present.) Otherwise, they can sit, tat chat and learn with our friendly group.
We shall meet on the first Saturday of every month Feb-Dec in 2011.
Judith
