I always factor something for a tip into the cost, too. I guess that might be offensive to some artists, but it's my way of showing appreciation.

so far I've paid about 100 dollars an hour... my first one that you see the the left here.. was two 3 hour sessions and I paid 100 dollars an hour but I think he cut me a deal and took an hour or two off and then I tipped an hour.

My second on my back took about 8 hours I'm guessing but he charged me only 500 dollars I think. Part of this might have been the fact I flew in from out of town, and got a hotel and rental car, drove 4 hours each way to get to him. I again tipped an hour.
