I need to do some yard work. The siding guys have a big mess going and their stuff is everywhere. We have had some rain and everything is perking up. Also a break from the hot temperatures has helped too.

Yesterday I started painting the stairwell and got it about half done. I need to run to town for more paint but it is pretty humid this morning and I prefer to paint when it is warm/hot.

That is a good idea to wait till you get your tank relocated before you get more fish.

My grandbaby came by last night for a short visit. She slept most of the time but when she was awake she didn't fuss at all. She seems to be such a good baby. My son had called yesterday and asked if I would come stay with him for a week so that his girlfriend can have a week off. He is sending her somewhere to visit family. It will be nice to visit with little MJ.

Connie - you and Mavis are both working on stairwells. I've got to get mine finished. I started painting it months ago and then put it on hold. It's really hard to do around all the kids going up and down. I was looking at it yesterday and want to replace the railing, too. It has the standard new builder's railing, but it is ugly to me. I want something more unusual. Thinking...thinking...

LOL Connie - I love that you signed your wall. I painted "whimsically yours" on one of mine one day. It was a spare room that we walk through from the kitchen to master bedroom. It used to be a bathroom and hallway, but we ripped the bathroom out because we didn't need it. Now we use it as a library/storage area for our freezer, exercize stuff and bookcases. But what I really want to do is expand our master bath and kitchen into the space. Some day. Anywho...I painted that on the wall a few years ago and forgot about it. Then it was covered by bookcases. A few weeks ago when I moved the bookcases into my new office I saw it. Made me laugh.

Hey - that's quite a project taking care of your fish! How awful about your town water, tho. Ugh I only drink bottled water here. I don't think there are any warnings on ours, but it tastes odd so I don't trust it.

Thanks Donna, it is so nice to have it done. Everyone keeps asking "what is next". A nice long rest lol. I have all my bead stuff moved in there and it looks like a tornado hit.
