Here's something I found that I'm not quite sure about. That is, I don't know whether to laugh or cry at these viewpoints.

Yippee! Bring on the fundies!!

"We are commanded to receive children with joy as God's gifts, and to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord". Yeah right. If a few more of them were admonished by the Lord more often (thinking smiting and bolts of lightning), maybe there wouldn't be so many little sods running around.

"Children, of course, do represent a serious constraint on the life of parents. Parenthood is not a hobby, but represents one of the most crucial opportunities for the making of saints found in this life."

I'd totally agree. You;d have to be a saint to raise them. This man is a genius!

Just stay in your corner, dude. I'm happy in mine :-)

Brainwashed zombies like that are stuff of horror movies and therefore to be ignored.

"That's right people! Keep making children, even if you abuse them, neglect them or abandom them, it doen't matter! It makes you closer to God and better then those Satan-worshipping Child-Free!"

Amen!

Then I proudly tell the world that I am *not* a Saint.

And yes, Pikasam, I'm happy in my corner too!

However, with this post, I guess I officially move up the food chain and become a Jellyfish! Woo hoo!

And they keep bumping against the inside of the van when you get inside.

Note: That is a rumor I heard. I never had any halos on me in my life -- trust me. smile

And we must out-produce, child wise, those heathen children that those "Satan-Worshiping" heathen parents spawn out, too... "We're on a mission from God"...
