Almost 34 hours now, man i have to play a long time to compete with you guys.

its no competition its just how much we like this game or how much time we have to play

I don't think the aim of FFX is to get through it as quickly as you can <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> That'd be like reading the Cliff Notes to a great book and saying "OK I'm done". It's fun because you can spend hours and hours roaming around, learning things, exploring, catching monsters and so on. If you just follow a walkthrough and do it super fast without any exploration, I think you miss out on half the fun <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

true, but its also very important not to go too slow or you might loose track of the story.
it took me over a week playing about 2-3 hours a night to get to sin, im on 98 hours at the minute.

how long did it take other people to get to sin?

I agree with Lisa in that it isn't all about finishing the game the fastest. The reason I play these games is that I love it when I reach a tough boss and finally discover a chink in his armour and finally beat him after several tries. I personally try to avoid getting the cheats and try to figure out the secrets by myself. There's no sense of accomplishment by having others tell you everything. I just check out the cheats after I beat the game to see what I've missed. Unfortunately it's quite a bit in this game <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> And it took me about 80 hours to get to sin, and about 82 hours to beat the game.

Ive been going 61 hours about and i have completed,but i have a saved file cos i havent got ultima, anima,magus sisters and other stuff so i need to get them.

It took me 40 hours to get to sin the normal way and from that point I started "learning and upgrading"

I ended it this morning and I was a bit disapointed about the strength of those guy's. I'm sure omega has more HP and strength then all other "end" bosses like Seymour or Jecht
I think I'll go after the Ultimate Aeon after I defeat Yojimbo 5 times in a row!?!?! Maybe he's a worthy opponent for me. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

o and never end these kinda games the "fast" way. Just have fun and play around a bit. Upgrade your players from now to then to make sure you don't have to much trouble defeating normal fiends. it keep the fun alive. So basically what they all say: Have FUN! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well, I don't have ten from everywhere yet. Still need 3 Master Tonberries (who BTW I am having less trouble running into than I did the regular tonberry) and I haven't run into a single Barbatos inside sin yet... got the others though <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
My roommate has decided I'm either insane or obsessed. LOL. Maybe a little of both <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I think a game like FF makes for twice as much fun if you discover all the little secrets!

58 hours 38 min to beat the game with no cheats on

I' ve been playing FFX for 156h & 56min.I' m not gonna stop until beating it 100%!Or 99%...I' ve lost 1 Al Bhed Primer...It was at Home.I've beaten the normal game (no dark aeons,no catching animals,no ultima weapons,etc) in 53h.
