BellaOnline Forums Computers Computer - Console Gaming Help Stuck on Mt Gagazet

I just beat the Sanctuary Keeper on the top of Mt Gagazet. Now i move on to
the top of the moutain and something strange happens each time.

I walk past the stone that is high and the camera angel changes. I then walk
up the mountain and i walk past yuna first and cannot talk to her, then
auron and then lulu. At the top i cannot move on, so i walk back, and i
cannot get back out either. I cannot access the menu and i cannot do a soft
reboot. I am just stuck.

It happens everytime I load my game back in, even if its an older save. I
really don't know what the problem is.

Any ideas? Maybe i forgot to do something earlier in the game. The only
thing i can think of is not being able to open the treasure chest outside
the training area in the calm lands.

If I had forgotten to speak someone wouldn't it let me go backwards so that I could speak to them?

im not sure what stone youre talking about but maybe you have overseen a path?
this mountain can be very labirynthig.
have you come to a save spher yet theres one on top of the mountain.?

I saved in the cave and then i came out to fight the sanctuary keeper at the top. I beat him and then Rikku says she wants to rest, but they tell her to keep going. And then Auran has his speech about not being a legendary guardian at the last time he was there but just a kid. then Wakka says lets go on, and i walk up the mountain. Its past the trials (i had to hit the middle of something with wakka's ball and i had to fit rikku, tidus and wakka into circles). Anyway outside i walk along the mountain path and there is a really tall pointy shaped rock as soon as i walk past it the camera pans, and tidus walks instead of running now. I can't go back past that pointy rock to go back down the mountain (if i wanted to that is) Its like there is an invisible wall there. IF i walk up the mountain then i first see Yuna and it looks like she is looking out (probably to Zanerkand. Then i walk past Auron and then Lulu all doing the same. Then the path curves around as if going to the very top, though i am not far off the top. And there is another invisible wall here not letting me past.

I can't speak to the 3 people i mentioned and i cannot call the menu. I caanot do a soft reboot and i can't get out of the frame, yet i can still walk around, but not run. Its all very strange and I have spent 60 hours to get to this stage and now it looks screwed when i go past this point. It doesn't happen anywhere else, just this point when by the looks of the walkthroughs i am supposed to go straight to Zanerkand after beating the Sanctuary Keeper.

i think i cant help you first that you talked to everybody cant find a nother path or nothing.

have you tried the walkthrough?

hey there, I'm afraid I can't remember the exact spot where you are, but are you up on ths path where the walls seem to be made up of people/fayth? If this is where you are, have you had Tidus examine the wall/have his "strange dream" yet? That's the only place I remember not being able to move on and not talking to people. I walked up to the fayth wall and pressed X and had a more-or-less dream...
If it isn't that, the only advice I can give you is to try and examine everything between the invisible walls, maybe there's something in the area you're supposed to examine instead of someone to talk to... Hope you can move on soon!

Yes i am past that and done all that. I am at the top of the mountain where i am supposed to see Zanarkand.

wait right, you've defeated the s.keeper so you're ftare all that... you should be about where the scene that plays when you start the game comes... Has the movie scene played yet or not? (where they sit aorund talking about old times and Tidus walks up and says his "listen to my story" bit like when you turn the game on) If it has, I think you have to have him go grab his sword, should it still be sticking up out of the ground at the side to have them move on. If it's before that, then I really don't know what to tell you because I do not recall there being anything TO do. There may be a sphere around there somewhere you need to pick up (but I think you've passed that already too). Maybe if you start up again from a saved game from a bit further back and play up to it again?? I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya...

Ahhhhh, yeah that sounds about where i should be. I haven't had the movie scene from the start though. Probably what is not happening. All i see is the 3 people staring out off the mountain and i cannot leave the frame. Really annoying. I tried from an earlier saved game and that didn't work too, so i went back to the start again. Seems like it is only a problem for me <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> 58 hours of playing and i can't complete it.
