I just came here and saw your post. I also am looking for the postage stamp pattern. I had it and now I've lost it. Did you perchance find it, cause I sure would like to make this in a baby afghan.
Thanks

Hi, I'm from New Jersey. I've been crocheting for 35 + years. Had several web sites. Sold my work in several co-op stores. Was doing well, then RA hit.(rheumatoid arthritis)So, I decided to start a web site on information on crochet. I'm calling it Crochet Plus. The plus is for any craft I choose to write about. I'm still working on it, not open yet. But, what I am doing is giving lessons on crochet. By making little movies with me crocheting. There not bad, but have to watch how I hold my hands so the camera gets clear view. The reason for the web site, couldn't leave crocheting behind! I loved it sooo. And, yes I have books galore and some yarn and a lot of thread. That is what I specialized in, thread crochet. One last thing, if anyone needs a little help let me know. I would be happy to!

my name is erika, I am American and live in Atlanta, GA!

I crochet, which is the closet thing to domestic for me. I was taught to crochet by a Flight Attendant on an airplane. She taught me the basic stitches and I taught myself the rest by asking questions online. I would get patterns for free online and teach myself how to read them. I've been crocheting since May 2005.

* Most recently finished item - A Hat

* On hook now - a scarf to match the hat. however, i've been eying another hat pattern and a sock pattern also.

* Favorite crochet book - the crochet answer book.

Hello Kate and fellow BELLA'S. I'm 56 bf, live in VA, USA. Have 3 daughters, 8 g-kids, and 2 g-g kids on the way. I learned to crochet by pattern in 1999. But, started when I was 14,15. It was supposed to be a blanket and it turned out to be a floor mat. Now I read patterns, do lovely work, and mostly crochet for my own children and family type friends. crazy

Welcome to the group, Mattie! You will find that there is a wealth of knowledge in this forum. Everyone is so wonderful about helping each other out when we get in a jam with our hobby. You can also get new ideas from all these folks! They've kept me going a lot of times when I felt like throwing a project in the trash. We're all here to help one another, so don't be afraid to ask your question - and no question is a "dumb" question, except for the one you never ask, of course.
