When an act is forbidden by God such as theft or murder does it have to be specifically mentioned whether done by a man or woman? No, theft is a sin regardless of gender and so is homosexuality. Also, abortion is NOT permitted under God's( It is not Jewish law because the law belongs to God not the Jewish nation) law. Abortion is death and death is the enemy. Deuteronomy says, " I have set heaven and Earth as witnesses against you, that I have set before you blessings and cursings, life and death, therefore CHOOSE LIFE that you and your descendants may live." Always choose life. That is God's way.

How do you feel about war? Is is alright for our government to send our young men and women into war? If killing is wrong then isn't war wrong? What is the difference if a young woman makes a decision to abort a baby or a young soldier takes the life of a pregnant women and baby? Unfortunately many hundreds of innocent children are killed everyday because of war.
And, every man, woman or child that is killed in that war is someone else's mother, father or child.

Is it right that you feed your family, raise your children, and praise your God when there are hungry children starving in our world... when there are homeless children living in abject poverty.. and we are killing the very climate that we live upon?

Did these children who are the victims or war or neglect or indifference choose this? Did their parents choose this? Did God choose this for them? You say "choose life". Tell that to a parent living in a tar paper shack whose child is hungry and there is no food to eat. Tell that to the people of the world whose world is torn apart by war and violence. Tell that to the babies starving out there.

If you want to DO something to help do it.. don't just sit there and condemn others for believing in something that fills their life with purpose.

If we, as humans, continue this useless debate about whose God is better, or how to get to heaven or how not to go to hell, we are overlooking the entire purpose for our being here.

We need to join together now more than ever before. We need to look at ways to promote solar power, build ecologically friendly homes, and stop taking advantage of our planet. We need to work together to achieve peace and harmony in our world and to make sure that there is not a child out there that goes to bed hungry.

I don't believe in God, but I do believe that there is a higher power out there in this universe of ours that is waiting to see if we are going to be strong enough to save our own existence...

I am doing something. I do lots of things. I will not go into detail because that would sound like bragging.
War is sometimes right. To defend your nation or defend the weak through war is not condemned by the Bible. MOST wars are evil. Only some are righteous. Fighting Hitler was righteous. We are not killing the climate. We can't even accurately predict the weather much less change it. Global warming? Caused by the sun. Without it we'd be a snowball in the dark. Maybe the SUN is causing it? What a concept! And we cannot save ourselves. Only Jesus Christ can save us. We will just destroy ourselves without the salvation and wisdom of God.

War is NEVER right. Never can war ever be justified, when you consider the amount of innocent people it kills, in comparison to those against whom war is waged. Nothing good ever comes of it, and it is a pointless waste of lives.
Those families and young men who go off valiantly fighting for "King and Country" do so with the most honourable, noble and heroic intentions: unfortunately, their tunes change, once they see for themselves how dreadfully War destroys lives. No war is ever righteous.
Nothing is ever gained through hatred and war, except more hatred and war.

It seems, Alexandra, that we are doomed by religious folks to enduring, lasting war. Very few wars are fought for other than religious reasons. Think Crusades, Inquisition, the Middle East, not just now, but since recorded history.
War is about power. Religion is about power. The two are meant for each other and shall ever be. If a war is to be marshalled, leaders will most often call upon religious leaders to enforce the idea that war is just because 'god is on our side'.

War is about power and greed! some war is needed like with Hitler. If someone had not stoped Hitler and his people from killing the Jews and Christians or anybody else that dared to tolerate the Jews where Would we be? If it was just hitler saying I have them that would have been one thing but to lock them you and do experiments and just flat terrorize men women kids babies what HAD TO BE STOPED!!!! it is sad that people like him live and gain support from others and it snowballs into war!! but If people are killing people for some assinie reason like Oh i dont like there color of religion! We have an Oblegation to stand up for those people!! on a smaller scale look at it this way lets say your an adult and there is a group of teenager picking on a group of small kids would you stand by and let the teens hurt the kids or would you step in and help them?

Pondlady, Guess what religion has murdered more people than all other religions combined. Paganism. They have practiced human sacrifice and murder for centuries as an actual part of their worship. Not just as an excuse for war. Many have even been cannibals. Now, would you point that accusing and anger filled finger at the pagans in this forum? Or just us Christians?

The war with Hitler was about power. He wanted it and was getting it in his atrocious way. Hitler had to be stopped. It would have been nice had he been stopped a few years sooner when the US learned of his 'solution', but the US really didn't care. We didn't care until Japan dropped a bomb on US soil.
There are Hitlers all over the world now. Genocide is happening in so many countries, but we really don't care. And, yes, sadly people notice crimes, poverty, homelessness, mental illness and more in this country and never lift a hand to help.

Good thing all the religious folks in the world are helping them all.

I can figure out why America fights everyone elses wars like hilter and most country's hate us for it But where was the people before it got to the point of war?

and america hands out money and education to the illegal aliens who come over and have baby after baby to get welfair and hud and Wic but when it come to helping a married couple or a single childfree person they turn there backs!!! and to make it worse the hard working people get taxed to death to pay for it!! at one time my mom had 2 full time jobs, I had 2 full time jobs and was taking classes and we had the gas, phone and electiric truned off in the dead of winter!!! and it wasnt like we had stake and freash fruit and veggys everymeal to stay healthy! no we had been eating romn noodles for a but a year cause that wsa what we could afford! oh yeah im a diebetic so insulin was rationed and Dr? hahaha

I think if the other countries dont want us there then why let your soldier go and die for them!? If they want us fine but....

and where is America when it come to helping americans? give a helping hand and stop the free hand outs that are draining americans!!!

Theoretically Free, Hitler wouldn't have been in power if it hadn't been for World War 1 and the reparations that Germany had to pay following it, which crippled their economy and opened the way for a dictator to "save" the people. A healthy country wouldn't have "needed" his "solution" and wouldn't have fallen for his rhetoric. It is a sad truth about history that the world never learns from past mistakes. WW2 was a repeat of WW1, just with more damage - what does that tell you?
