Abortion should be illegal unless there are dire circumstances.
Babak said abortion is illegal in Islam. I am appalled that it is illegal in Islam and legal in Christendom.
If Democrats were a little less permissive, many lives could be and would be saved.
The body may be saved but the spirit may lead to being broken. What if the mother abuses the child that she didn't want to give birth to? Then you as an American tax payer may end up paying for this child to be on welfare, pay the medical costs of broken bones suffered at the hands of the mother, the psyhciatric bill when the child becomes an adult because of the abuse, or even worse the child can turn around and be an abuser to thier spouse and/or child, thus the cycle starts once again for us to pay for.

Aborting a child is the worst possible abuse a mother could inflict. Abortion denies life. To give life allows a child to ultimately reach his or her potential.

life does NOT equate potential - and if potential is reached there is NO gurantee that the potential they are to achieve is a good one...hell some people are born only with the potential to be sociopatheic murders - regardless its not a child she is aborting...at that stage it has no potential
