they are more susceptible, just happen to be the highest category of people with the disease in the US. Worldwide it isn't gays with the most susceptibility to aids anymore I think.
It also has to do with the casual and easy sex attitude and the underground sex that happened.

Hiv is contracted through unhealthy behaviors. Are you trying to argue that because some see being gay as immoral or unhealthy it is a leading cause of transmission?

I am looking at the biology. Does aman to man contact increase chance of AIDs more? Something on those lines. I am not talking of any morality etc. This is a purely scientific enquiry.

I have not read anything that says that man to man contact (anal or oral sex) increases your chance of HIV/AIDS any more than man on woman or woman on woman.

why are gays more susceptible to HIV? Because anal sex usually results in more abrasions than vaginal sex. This is why lesbians have a much lower risk than gay men.

Because gays were the major players in the aids pandemic in the early 80's and 90's.
