Hey all, I am new here, thought I should introduce myself. I currently have a 9 year old meyers parrot named Miss P. I have had bird(s) since I was 10, so I am not new to birds. I love to talk about them and look forward to hearing about everyone's experiences and also learning new things! Connie

Thanks for the fast welcome! I will have to come and chat, I love to talk about birds! What kinds of birds do you have? I also have 2 great danes that think they rule the house! If I could figure out how to post a picture I would post one of Miss P! Connie

In order to post a picture here, you have to have it located somehwere else & then use the image button below (when you are typing a reply) to put the URL. Then it will show up on this page.
My flock consists of 2 Congo African Greys, 5 tiels, 1 Lovebird, 1 Conure, 2 Doves, 1 Quail, & 10 finches.
I'm glad you've joined us here & look forward to meeting you at our next chat.

Hmm, I don't know that I am technilogically advanced enough to post pictures LOL! We bought a new printer a month ago and it took us a week to get it attached to the computer. Turned out we needed an updated driver. That is a whole other story though LOL. Sounds like you have a nice variety to your flock. What kind of finches do you have? I think the gouldians are so pretty, but have heard they are hard to keep. I would love to have some finches, but our house is so small and space is limited.

The finches are mostly my daughter's, but I have one pair of Green Singers. My daughter has 4 Zebras, 5 Societies and a Black Headed Nun. I took pictures of the Societies as they had babies and posted them all in an article that you can see by clicking here.

No - those baby finches are not tame. As soon as they could fly on their own, they learned to fly away. They probably are not quite as flighty as their parents, but they certainly are not tame. Glad you enjoyed their baby pictures.
