Can negativity be forced out by trying to be creative? Suppose I am feeling bad, will trying to paint help?
I guess to me, forcing the negative thoughts out is important.
But more importantly, I want to 'find' the root cause. The real emotion behind the negativity.
I don't want to mask off the negative thoughts by diverting my attention or with some positive affirmations. Because it ALWAYS come back for me another time. I want to know why it happens, why I feel that way. Then I decide whether I want to change or decide whether I want to let it go. Of course, it's painful to face it. However through the process, I understand myself better.
