Do abusers also behave with violence with others? Or it is only with their partner?

As far as I am aware, they make every effort to appear absolutely noral,charming and inoffensive to everyone else... but the abuse they subject their partner to, is a demonstation of inadequacy and a desire to control....
I have met several people who to all intents and purposes, were the very models of good, honest, law-abiding citizens - but who behind closed doors, became a different person entirely...
This also serves to undermine the confidence and credibility of the person they are abusing.
Just from my point of view and experience.

Are they such good actors? Or is this natural with them?
How can a person of such mentality behave perfectly with others but change in the home? Then they are mentally sick and need treatment.

I don't think they are necessarily mentally sick and in need of treatment. But without exception, those I have encountered needed psychological counselling, due to past experiences affecting their present behaviour....

They don't have a dual personality. They have a true and a false personality.
Someone with a dual, or multiple personality truly believes that these personalities are individual in their own right.
The kind of people you are talking about have a true version of themselves, and one they present outwardly.....To a certain extent, we all have this. A Public face, and one known more intimately, in private..... But violent abusers run it to an unacceptable extreme.

It's easy - until someone fights back, or resists.
Whilst there is no opposition or contradiction, it's a very easyfacade to maintain. Only when it is challenged, do things become different.

you mean to say that it is easy to act for decades? What about the damage to the personality? Can anyone maintain sanity acting so long?

But CDM, it's as I told you, we all do it, all the time....we all adopt and present personas to different people,in different spheres....it's a natural aspect of interaction.... This is why when criminals get caught, their neighbours always express astonishment - They couldn't believe it, they had no idea.... he seemed such a nice person...who would have known?
