and i've had my Betta, Alfie for 3 weeks now

Did you do the 25% water change before the second dose?

I only had to dose my betta twice before he got better. So you don't necessarily have to do it 3 or 4 times. The medication says you MAY dose again UP to 2 times after the initial dose, leaving 48 hours in between doses and with a 25% water change.

Also, what's the temperature of his water?
