OMG- go for a second opinion; Same exact thing happened to me - biopsy read- suspicious; well- I must say-- anything that say's suspicisous -- make me suspicious. SO I went to a homeopathic/holistic DR - who is also a DO and can subscribe meds or perform surgery and she's has much experience in THYROID: so what she did for me was she had me have a thyroid uptake scan to see if I had HOT OR COLD Nodules. Left Thyroid and Ithumus showed suspocious on the needle Biopsy. Lo and behold after I had the thyroid scan. It came back NO HOT OR COLD NODULES -- verdict was -- no surgery needed to remove my thyroid that keeps our bodies functionally properly. However she is givng me a hormone remedy <not a pill> to help with the hypo feelings that I have - and since I've been doing that for about 6 mos; I've been feeling like a million bucks-- not to mention taking Vit B's with C and B12 liquid vitamins and Calcium and Magnesium. Good Luck - but I highly stress a second opinion. jem
