A recent survey conducted in the US indicated that about half of participants hated their body because they felt very inferior to the bdies of models. I do not have the link. This was reported by reuters.

Somehow women belive that they must look like the top models of the day. As the top models change, a woman's body should also conform to that.

This is the way media and ad agencies affect the thinking of common citizens.

Is this not similar to a thread we have about Cosmo and other mags?

I have never actually worked out whether CDM is male or female, though it may have been mentioned before, so I'm not implying there's a hidden agenda here. For some reason though, without fore-knowledge, I suspect CDM is male....

But CDM, you do seem to have a fascination with the female psyche, and how the female mind ticks, in general.
Almost every topic you have posted has been to do with personal female issues. Some very intimate. Some might agree that it's bordering on the obsessional.

No. i would only say that the human behavior fascinates me. it is not only females.
