9/11!! I wish the Americans wouldn't go on about it, yes it was tragic and people of other nationalities lost people too, but it is over and done. In Britain we have been subjected to terorrism for many years and have lost many people killed by IRA bombs. The IRA were partly funded by people in the USA! Last year London experienced 7/7, Islamic terrorist bombs killed a lot of people. Are Brits running scared, no of course we are not, we are made of sterner stuff!

Not only that. Who suffered 9/11? New Yorkers. Did they want this war? Did they want Bush? NO!

I once saw an interview with Lilian Gish. She was asked why she agreed, when filming on of her early silent movies back when there was no such thing as special effects, to float down an icy river on a chunk of ice wearing nothing but a flimsy nightgown-like garment.

She said "I was young then. Only the young allow themselves to be abused so...". Then she paused and looked straight into the camera.

"That's why they send them to war." She said. I've never forgotten.
