im not familiar with the bio gold pellets, but one a day sounds like very little. i would suggest two to four pellets a day and maybe a blood worm every day. Just remembered you said she was 2 cm (which is less than an inch), so make that 2 or 3, and one blood worm for her. and maybe four pellets for him. Like i said though, Im not familiar with the size of those pellets. A good rule of thumb, their tummies are about the size of their eyeballs. Im sorry I made you feel bad. Certainly not my intention. You sound like youre being very conscientious with your feedings. Keep up the good work!!

Oh no! You didn't really made me feel bad! It's just that I don't have a lot of vocabulary in english since I speak french! I meant that I was a LITTLE worried that I was overfeeding them with blood worms when I read your post! I'm ok now!
I thought that since my female is so small, she didn't need a lot of pellets. But I think you're right! I should give her two pellets and a very small blood worm. I am confused because of the guy from the pet shop (I know I shouldn't trust him...) who told me to give my male two pellets. I did that for a couple of days but I decided to give him 3 a day. But I felt like I was doing something wrong. Now I know that I am doing a good thing!

Feeding can be the hardest part of keeping fish. Knowing how much, how often and what kind...Trust your instincts and keep up the good work!
