Can U.S. graduate students apply for PLUS Loans (the federal loan program where the parents borrow for the student's education expenses)?

Need a hint? See the article.

Looks like I may get this book out the door after all!

You're "cooking with gas", Ivy - as my Grandmother would say.

Next question:

The New Commission on the Skills of the American Workforce thinks kids are in the primary/secondary school system for too long. When (at what grade level) do they suggest kids should finish their secondary education and move on to work or higher ed?

Hint-You can find the answer in the most current Colleges article.

10th grade.

Hmm, Given the nature of the world economy right now, I think stopping in an educational pursuit to evaluate continued pursuit or joining the workforce is a good idea. Having those periodic evaluations starting at 10th grade and continuing every 4-6 years until the individual determines their education is satisfactory, might be a good idea from an economic point of view. The big difficulty and flaw I see in this is: America isn't cheap labor. As Americans, what we do best is specialize in technology and mass markets or specialized markets of higher quality production.
Having a larger, less educated workforce, wouldn't keep us competitive as a labor force.

Ahh, but the idea isn't necessarily LESS education; just a different approach to education.

Your answer, however, is correct.

Look for the next and final question to appear on 04/27.

Those of us in Texas are familiar with the concept of "Southern Minutes" (great excuse for those of us who can't seem to keep to a schedule--or in my case, more than one) - I've just used up a lot of those. 8o)

Okay. Here's our next question:

What is the name of the Colleges' site newsletter? (If you go wayyyyyy back in the article archives, you'll find the info you need to answer this one.)

GOod luck!
