Because it's good to have fun occasionally, lets play a game.
The object of this game is that I will start with a fractured sentence with the goal being to keep the sentence going on as long as possible. Example:
I post 'It was a dark and stormy night...'
and you post '...when the winds of autumn blew...'
and someone else posts '...at my window, suggesting a sense of doom...'
et al.
Having said then - the sentence:
'I promise I will not bite, she said...'
