oh, but of course. And they probably DID have a child - and it wouldn't even be a half blood, since Kylara was Larad's full-blood sister and Meron was Lord of Nabol. Shudder. If they had a boy, he probably grew up with a personality like Fax....unlike my hero, Jaxom, who is actually related to Fax.
Anyway, good names for little beasties. Now you need to make a weir.

Everyone get along in my little tank. They all love it. They get to be tv for my kittens. Zoid and Troi even come up to greet them. The kittens also like drinking the water from the little filter i have running. the betta's actually like playing in the current sometimes. I have a deep enough tank that if they don't want the movement, they just go down to the bottom. I want to get another betta, and put him, or her, in the 2.5 galllon i have. I need to get another heater first though.
I'm glad i joined you guys here.. Anne McCaffery is probably my favourite author I grew up with fantasy and sci-fi thanks to my mom. She got me hooked early. Jaxom and Ruth have long been my favourite pair

almost forgot to tell you about my salt tank. Right now it has lots and lots of live rock in it, and an arch that has gargoyles sitting on it. a nice cave system for the critters. I also have 2 fabric plants in there. I tried keeping fish, but since i got them all in the winter, they couldn't handle going from thier warm water to the bag being walked outside, and they all got marine ich from the stress and died. Now that it's warmer, i'm going to try fish again. I do have an arrowhead crab in there, 3 peppermint shrimp and some redlegged and bluelegged crabs. as well as the tiny critters that came in on the rocks, including some tiny mantis shrimp, and baby feather dusters, and an anemone thats hiding.

ooo! With an anenome you can get a clown fish! Maybe the anenome is hiding because it's lonely for a fishie

Emg, for a weir you can have lots of racks with nooks and crannies for caves, add your dragon - and NO PLANTS. nothing for thread to eat, right? maybe a set of Star Stones on top of your rock outcrop/weir.

lol...this anemone is too small for anything to live in it. it was tagging along with one of the rocks...no bigger than a nickle. it's a nice thought though.

Jilly, your right about no plants in a wyer, That thought did occur to me...of course unless you do "Southern Wyer"...then it could be a jungle of plants for your fishie to swim through! Can't forget the sandy wallow with a dragon in it...along a beach coast no less...
I like plants in my aquariums..fake or real...it would be cool to suspend a flaming dragon over a patch of green though...hhmmm..
 Emg

Hmmm, good ideas...Southern Weir, Cove Hold usually has dragons hanging out, and we all know the dragonriders have claimed the best part of Southern...are we just complete nerds here! let's move this discussion to theme aquariums, which I think moved down to the second page in the forum...time to bring it back to the top.

Nights, I like the idea of the gargoyles on the arch of the salt tank. SOunds like you kinda have a refugium going - plenty of yummy food for any predator fish you might get this summer. Sorry to hear about the fish that didn't make it home. What a bummer! What were they?
