I'm a clean freak about sticky fingers and that kind of stuff. But when we have kids over, it's DH who follows them around scolding them for touching things! It's kind of funny to watch. I'm almost like "hey, if they break it, it's an excuse to buy a new one!"

[color:"blue"] Uh huh. I'm glad to see another fellow childfreer whose a perfectionist and neat freak.

If children were to enter our home, some rules would come down first. I'm not having any distasters!!!

If motherhood doesn't interest you, don't do it. It didn't interest me, so I didn't do it. Anyway, I would have made a terrible parent. The first time my child didn't do what I wanted, I'd kill him."

I used to be friends with this girl who let her kid run wild. She brought him with her and her husband one day to see our new house, and he went crazy! I spent the hole time on pins and needles, waiting to see what he'd do next. His mother didnt' do much of anything...all she said was, "Oh, isn't he cute?" I wanted to scream.

I tried babysitting a couple of times for this girl I used to be friends with. It was exhausting enough caring for her son as an infant for a couple of hours; later, I got sucked into babysitting him for nearly 4 hours when he was a toddler. I was climbing the walls ready to scream! I would definitely go postal if I was a mother.

[color:"blue"] Once in a while, I don't mind watching kids who are capable of behaving, but I do NOT, however, like watching kids who are unruley. It gives me the creeps. Karenb, your not the only one! I guess parunts today are incapable of punishing their kids. [color:"blue"] Me too. Her quote sums it up for me.

The little graphic of the ball butting it's head against the wall sums it up. It also sums up what it's like trying to talk to some people who have kids....they don't get it and will just keep trying to convince you to have kids until they give in! It's like some horror movie where I'm the only sane one but the world is full of zombies!
