[color:"blue"] I'm in total agreement, also. Parents are so lazy nowadays. They won't watch their own kids, and then, if their kids gets hurt, they'll just claim that they, "Only turned their head away, just for second." Or some crud like that. It ONLY takes a split second for something terrrible to happen. I swear that all of the wrong people are having kids. Those of us who would be good parents can't have any. Life's a [censored] sometimes

I've been told that I'm good with kids. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

If motherhood doesn't interest you, don't do it. It didn't interest me, so I didn't do it. Anyway, I would have made a terrible parent. The first time my child didn't do what I wanted, I'd kill him."

I agree! At least I can put them in their kennel when they act out. can't do that with kids. But I do wish I could get that dependent tax credit for my animals.

That's what I say about my bunnies -- I don't get arrested for leaving them home alone in a pen!

[color:"blue"] I feel like I would more regret having kids, than not having them. I'd hate to ruin my life.

I often make that point to people who hassle me about not having kids; i'd rather regret not doing it (which only affects me) than regret doing it (which affects me, the child, my husband etc).

Incidentally, my sister had a baby 8 weeks ago. I thought it would be interesting to see how i felt about the whole baby/child thing when i had to have one in the immediate family! I wondered if my resolve might weaken, you know?
Anyhow there was no need to worry: i love my niece to bits, she's a real cutie. But it hasn't changed my mind about having kids in the least!

[color:"blue"] Millyella, when someone in my family has a baby, it only strenghtens my resolve. I thank God I'm childfree. Some of my family members think that it would make me want one, and the opposite happens.
