i'm sorry for your problems with your nose.
i got a piercing on my nose a month ago. it kept bleeding on and off from the outside. finally i decided to go IN and not just call, turns out i had a keloid for one, and for two i was reacting to the metal and the skin was liquifying trying to reject it, and swelling on the inside trying to push it out. so... we changed out to a plastic stud but i'm still having a bit of trouble and am trying to figure out what to do. Could it also be the amount of time since i changed it? its only been a few days.
when i pooch it out a bit to take care of it (once i make sure its not stuck to the nose) i notice a bubble from inside that comes out. is that the keloid?
I also am not sure what to do, but the suggestions here have be SO helpful and i am going to try some of them. I also wanted to know if a ring would be a better choice due to lack of friction all the time?
anyway thank you for all the info and being able to find it.

I've had keloids form on both of my cartilage piercings. My first one has now gone away, and the second is on it's way out. Try salt soaks with your next piercing. Those have always worked wonders for me. Also, use unscented anti-bacterial soap when cleaning your piercing. It is less abrasive, and less irritating to an open wound.
