the omega ruins are always a good place to train - do you have his celestial weapon? so yeah, you'll just need to level up heaps, and you'll probably need to increase your luck quite a bit for the dark aeons too. and you can customise your armour with break HP limit with wings to discovery, which you win off shinryu in the monster arena, or you can bribe them off some fiends, can't remember which ones though. also, nemesis in the monster arena will occasionally drop break HP limit armour when you beat it. hope this helps!

thank you for the reply, i appreciate it so much but i do have world champion and the masamune. for me, wakka does aroud 20-40k damage per hit and auron 99,999 damage consistently..well, my problem is actually almost 80% of the strength spheres are already occupied by wakka and does not much damage...: wall : and for nemesis in the arena, do i have to kill it ?

You will need to unlock every monster at the arena. If you already have access to Nemesis, the Monster Arena owner will sell you clear spheres. (You should not have to defeat Nemesis, only unlock him.) These will delete any non-skill node of the Sphere Grid. You need to fight the species creations that drop attribute spheres to boost your stats beyond the limits of the original grid. By clearing nodes that are +1, +2, and +3 from the grid and adding many +4 nodes you can boost all of your stats up to their limit of 255.
I have no experience with the Dark Aeons, (stupid US version) but I am sure maxing your stats will help you with these battles. With Wakka's strength at 255 he should hit for 99999 against most enemies when using Attack Reels.

Tidus, I'm with you on wishing for the International Version.
Auron, Easiest way to level anyone up. Unlock Don Tonberry in the Monster Arena. Equip Wakka with armor containing Triple Overdrive, Overdrive <-> AP, and Triple AP. Set his overdrive mode to Stoic so that he gains overdrive when damaged. Begin your fight with Don Tonberry. Your other two characters besides Wakka are optional. Personally I'd bring in Auron (hardest-hitter). The other will mainly be to bring people back to life, so either stock Phoenix Downs or bring in Yuna for her Life technique. For a while in the fight, have Wakka do all the attacking. Everytime he hits DT, he will more than likely be killed. However, the more Don hurts you, the more AP you'll get. Do this for as long as you need to, and you'll get 99 Sphere Levels after every fight (be sure you kill him ). After that, Tidus96 covers you on the sphere grid.
Good luck.
I know it sounds selfish, but this is my story. - Tidus

Wakka, The Don Tonberry trick is quite nice, but it goes far far deeper than that.
Don Tonberty's counter (Karma) is what makes this trick work, but it is the nature of this counter that makes it so exploitable. This counter does not do damage based on any of Don Tomberry's stats. Rather, it deals exactly 100x the number of kills your character has. i.e. If Wakka has obtained 125 kills in your game the counter does 12500 damage. Now, if any of your characters has killed 1000+ enemies, it will do 99999 damage every time.
Ok, so now how do we get someone 1000 kills? All you have to do is put them in a formation with 2 others that are slower than them (Lulu and Auron have the lowest Agility stats), give them a weapon with the First Strike ability, go to the arena and hit the x button for a few hours. Change your TV over to Cable, and hit the x button while you watch. (If you have a turbo controler, even better, just put something on the button to hold it down and leave it there for a while.)
Now that we have a way to guaranty a character is going to get hit for 99999, we need to turn that in to AP, lots of it. This is where the Triple Overdrive, Triple AP, Overdrive->AP weapons, Wakka mentioned, come into play. Killing the Evil Eye will get you Triple AP weapons with 1 or 2 empty slots. Slaughter him until you have one with 2 open slots for all 7 characters. Add the Triple Overdrive and Overdrive->AP abilities to these weapons.
Ok, we are almost there. Now we have to consider how exactly Overdrive charging works. When you are in stoic mode, you gain Overdrive at about the rate of one full bar per damage equal to your total HP. So even though we know we will get hit for 99999 damage, If your HP total is 9000 you are only going to get the equivalent of 11 Overdrive charges. *But*, if you clear out all of the HP spheres from that persons grid, you can get them down below 1000HP. I personally did this with Yuna, and when she is at base HP, she has 475. Rikku would be even better as her base is 320. At 475HP we get an amazing 210.5 Overdrive charges from each hit of 99999.
Now all of our tweaking is done. Now for the final set up. From now on I will refer to the character who has had their HP cleared as the Sacrificial Lamb. You will need to set your Sacrificial Lamb's Overdrive mode to Stoic, and all 6 other characters to Comrade. (Comrade works like Stoic, but when others get hit) Equip all of your Overdrive->AP weapons, and begin the battle with your Sacrificial Lamb and any two others. Here we go: Step 1: Hit Don Tonberry with the Sacrificial Lamb. Step 2: Watch as the Lamb gets mercilessly slaughtered. Step 3: Make sure the two others in the battle have taken at least one action (Defend works well) Step 4: Switch your first reserve in for one of the two members in the battle, and use a Phoenix Down on the Sacrificial Lamb Step 5: Switch in your second reserve for the other member in the battle. Defend. Step 6: Repeat Steps 1 and 2 Step 7: Repeat Steps 3 and 4 with third and fourth reserves Step 8: Repeat Steps 1 and 2 Step 9: Use a Phoenix Down on the Sacrificial Lamb with anyone Step 10:Flee from the battle and marvel at the ridiculous amounts of AP you have just obtained.
If optimized as I outlined above you should get 99 sphere levels with ALL 7 of your characters, and no I did not forget "Step 11: Kill Don Tonberry" because you do not have to do this. If your Agility is not high enough you may not be able to get though all of the steps before he gets too close and stops countering with Karma. If this is the case you will just have to fight him again to get AP for those who did not make it into the battle.
Important Notes: Each character must take at least one action in the battle to receive AP; make sure every character gets in and defends once. This can be done after Don gets too close in order to speed up the initial steps. The Sacrificial Lamb must be alive at he end of the battle or they will not receive AP.
I have outlined the optimal setup for this trick. If you want to save some time, or do not have the items for a step you can alter them to your liking. (The Sacrificial Lamb does not have to have 1000+ kills, or base HP, you can set up weapons with Double Overdrive or Double AP rather than Triple) Just know that if you relax some of the steps outlined you may not get 99 sphere levels in one fight. This problem is solved easily by fighting him again.
In closing, all I want to say is, I hope everyone who uses this little trick enjoys watching poor little 475HP Yuna get hit for 99999 as much as I did.

you can customise your armour with break HP limit with wings to discovery, which you win off shinryu in the monster arena how are you supposed to beat this guy w/o break hp when he hits you for 15k. all my mains are at 9999hp and ive hit a wall, cant kill the mobs that hit for more than 10k. <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

If you have not already unlocked all of (or at least 3 of) the celestial weapons, you need to do that. Then you need to fight the enemies that you can kill. I can't remember the best ones to start with, but you need to kill the species creations. Many of them drop stat spheres. (Tanket-Defense, One Eye-Magic Defense, Fenrir-Agility, Hornet-Accuracy, Jumbo Flan-Magic, Juggernaut-Strength) You should be able to hit for somewhere around 20,000dmg before you start maxing, but once you start killing these monsters, your strength will reach 255, and your defense will reach 255. Those enemies that were hitting for over 10k won't be nearly as menacing once you have maxed your defense. Until you have done a good amount of work on your stats, you won't stand a chance against any of the original creations; however, every enemy in the game can be beaten without breaking the HP barrier.
