LOL...well,Molly was a planned addtion to the family- our next door neighbor's Australian Shepherd had a litter(We're NOT sure if her other half is Rottie or Lab..)...Molly is the runt of that litter...Abbey was a suprise...She was thrown out of a moving vehicle right in front of my house- durring the COLDEST part of February 2002..There were four in her litter- I only saw four kittens...Abbey was the only one I could catch! So, we kept her. (To this day, she is afraid of ANY moving Vehicles, and took almost a year for her to even get the guts up to go outside!) Abbey is an aloof little thing...she's more my Dad's cat than mine..even though she's REALLY supposed to be MY cat! LOL...
Molly's happiest next to me, or as close as she can get..Abbey prefers to cuddle in against Dad- at least until he looses his patience with her, then off she goes stalking through the house like it's her personal play ground! LOL..

I have recent pictures taken..they're just not scanned onto disc...(When I get them scanned,I'll be sure to share them!)But, I do have Molly's puppy picture on disc, though...

POOR KITTY!!! i love kitty's too!
its a virtual zoo at my house. one aquatic frog in a 5 gal. tank, a two gallon tank with guppies and snails, my doxie, and shep who's a german sheppard mix (of some sort). he stays outside. he just showed up one day about 6 years ago, and adopted us <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

one time several years ago when we lived further out in the country, we had 17 cats!! every one had a name and a personality, and we went through about 30 lbs of food a week! we love animals!

hi nita, that is horrible what people did to your por babies. oh i wish that sometimes when people are so cruel to animals that they would get it back 10 times as bad. is sooooo mean, i mean sheesh these poor babies can't help themselves. i am like you, a lover of animals and can't stand to see any in pain or abandoned. for instance, my little female was so sick she almost died(she actually did stop breathing at the vets) turned out she had a bad infection in her chest cavity and it took 5 months and 3,000.00 (yup you read that right) dollars to get her well, and i am not by any means a rich person,in fact qualify for earned income, but couldn't stand to see her suffer and she is a major part of our family, everyone told me i was nuts, i told them butt out!!!!! but she is healthy now and the love of my life(after hubby and kids that is) well sometimes before, SHE doesn't give me an grief!!!LOL have a great day, merwyn

Aww..poor lil kitty! I got REALLY lucky that Abbey wasn't injured! Just scared out of her little wits! She's more than made up for everything- believe that! She's quite the accomplished mouser- and proudly shows off her prowess in the matter! She proudly shows off her latest kill...and proudly plays with it,too...as if to say, "See what I brought you! I'm a GOOD kitty!" LOL...

Molly has been a barrel of fun since she came home at five weeks old....It's not so much that we own her, she OWNS us! Or, she thinks she does! And, yes, she's still every bit as cute and adorable as she was when she came home at five weeks old! (Yes! She's fully aware of that little fact, too!) Dad gets a kick out of her when she chases his brother,Allen off our property...(Molly can't stand Uncle Allen....)as well as getting a chuckle when she goes belly up....which she's done since we had her spayed about a year and a half ago.)

Wowza! That's a HUGE vet bill! A few weeks ago, I found a stray pit bull puppy in my back yard...poor little thing was SO abused. I had absolutely NO clue that the lady who owned them lived a block over from us AND had NINE other Pit Bulls! (City ordinance here states you can only have three dogs with out a kennel license.) Anyway, the police and Animal Control was called in, and because I had the puppy in my care, I was questioned and asked to indentify it...At some point, IF the case goes to trial, I may be called to testify. I have a feeling that the vet bill to take care of that puppy MIGHT have been THAT pricey..- I doubt if we would've kept it, as Molly doesn't do well if other dogs try to invade her turf, so to speak! (But she was such a cute little thing, though!) Molly didn't mind so much that the puppy ate some of her food, and had some of her treats- but when it came to that puppy trying to get on my lap Molly was NOT a happy camper to say the least! LOL...But,that's not even addressing the problem we have with one family on our block...They've been on some kind of wierd mission to have ALL the dogs on our block put to sleep claiming that they're vicious, and have attacked their kids! Evidently, it was working until they tried it on Molly. I just told the police that I SAW her kids attack MY dog...poking her with sticks through the fence, and tormenting her. Anyway, they ultimately failed since then...and, no, Molly didn't get taken down, either! Thank God...Suffice it to say that woman and I don't get along...at all!

I think in terms of behavior, sometimes Abbey is a little better behaved than Molly...but, not by much! LOL...Both Molly and Abbey all too easily carved their ways into their places in our family!
You have a GREAT day,too!
