Hi Franny
cassia obovata is commonly confused with /mistaken for henna and is also known as "colourless henna". It comes from the cassia obovata plant - there's actually ahuge family of cassias out there which confuses many people but this one is for hair ! It's basically powdered plant leaves - no chemicals - and looks similar to pure henna powder. It's generally known as "colourless" but I'll add a word of caution - on light colour hair, do not use for longer than half an hour as it can leave a slight yellowish tinge. Please visit my website home page for more info. on cassia obovata -
www.renaissancehenna.comwhere you can buy it too if you're interested to try it. Mix with water into a paste, leave 10 mins, then apply into your hair roots and smother all over your hair. Leave in about 25 mins - 30 mins and wash out. If you hvae extremely dry hair add a little oil to the paste before you apply and use mayo or hair conditioner to wash out first, then shampoo It'll give your hair immmediate boost - fullness and thickness ! Many people say their hair is thicker after using cassia. I don't belive it actually makes the hair physically thicker, but it certainly relaxes the hair and gives the feeeling of a fuller head of hair !
Hope you find this info. of interest.
Kind regards
sabrina.
