You've GOT to be kidding. Gas prices were inflated just like the hurricane was a figment of your imagination. Nobody made up either story!

Bush's colleagues are under indictment? What paper do YOU read?

I still say I am proud of President Bush and thank God that he has kept the war from coming to America. Our economy is strong and gas prices are still coming down!

God bless America and ALL of her leaders! We should all be proud of who we are as Americans and what we share in this great country!

No, Jan, I am a Republican. I have ALL my senses about me and I stand by what I say... America is a GREAT nation and I am proud to be an American. My father's grandparents came here from England and Ireland and were very proud and happy to be part of this great country. My father taught me to have the same pride and I do. I am very proud of President Bush and his moral standards and the fact that he actually stands up for what he believes, even if it is not popular. He still looks out for our country as a whole!

The only moral standards Bush seems to have are where his next barrel of oil is coming from! If Bush is in charge of the US much longer that nation is in danger of standing alone in the world, and totally despised because of it daft foreign policy. How can you be a proud of a president who doesn't seem to know which way is up most of the time?

To all the Bush-supporters out there:
Do you realise that Clinton left Bush with a $236 BILLION federal Surplus and that 4 years later, Bush had changed that into a more than $400 BILLION Deficit?? Do you still think the country is in sound financial shape??

And this same story appeared in our local New Orleans paper this morning with a Washington Post byline. The Republicans offficial explanation is that stay the course does not really mean stay the course. Sound familiar?
Will people not open their eyes?

During an interview today on ABCs This Week, President Bush tried to distance himself from what has been his core strategy in Iraq for the last three years. George Stephanopoulos asked about James Bakers plan to develop a strategy for Iraq that is between stay the course and cut and run.

Bush responded, Weve never been stay the course, George! Watch it:

Bush is wrong:

BUSH: We will stay the course. [8/30/06]

BUSH: We will stay the course, we will complete the job in Iraq. [8/4/05]

BUSH: We will stay the course until the job is done, Steve. And the temptation is to try to get the President or somebody to put a timetable on the definition of getting the job done. Were just going to stay the course. [12/15/03]

BUSH: And my message today to those in Iraq is: Well stay the course. [4/13/04]

BUSH: And thats why we?re going to stay the course in Iraq. And that?s why when we say something in Iraq, were going to do it. [4/16/04]

I think Trish is a great patriot. She really believes in her country. I wonder, though, if Bush is a patriot like you, Trish, because the way he's working, he's making your country a sorry sight for our eyes.

I am not in the least bit partriotic. I thank God I live in a country where we are not constantly flag waving. At present the US and UK haven't got very much to be proud about!

Bush is not a liar. But Bin Laden and al Qaeda are cold-blooded murderers who have no respect for human life, not even their own.
